I love Lily Morton’s books, I love the perfect mix of snark and romance, the wonderfully complex and usually damaged characters, the storylines… Add ghost to all of these and it’s simply perfection.
The story is superbly told, we can sense the danger growing by the minute but we also can see the compulsion that drives Blue and the love for him that keeps Levi and Tom at that dreadful house.
One of the things I love the most here is how Blue and Levi connect here, owning their insecurities and talking about them *gasps*
Tom is glorious in his grumpiness, I just love him ♥ And I find it funny that it was he who got himself a friendship with the aristocracy 😛
Blues’ dad, though…. I’ll reserve judgment until we see a little more of him. And I’m sure we will.
