This is a nice start to a new series. it is well written with an interesting premise. Honestly, the only thing I really would have wished for is for it to be a bit longer. I feel that could have allowed for deeper character development and flushing things out more. I am looking forward to seeing how well the other books accomplish this.
Great narration, as always, by Steve Campbell. He always performs with good energy and emotion, bringing even more life to the tale. If you are familiar with his work, he keeps up the standard here. If you are new to his work, dive in and enjoy. 🙂
