Narrator is very good. Story is fun, wild, then equally serious and tragic. Friendship, betrayal, love, hate, loyalty, fear, and revenge all portrayed by distinct and memorable characters.
Descriptive, and paints a picture of the sights, sounds and smells without overdoing it.
Realistic and knowledgeable use of firearms, and generally how things work in the world is correct. Which is nice.
