Population Zero is full of suspense and action as well as being thought provoking. I messed up my entire day today because I didn’t want to stop listening to it last night. Around 4am, I finally had to turn it off in order to get some sleep. I love Kevin Pierce and could listen to his voice forever. I love most of the characters, especially Scout and Gabriella, and could see myself interacting with them. Ryan Schow did a great job describing them to the point where I could imagine some of their thoughts and actions. Scout’s conversations with Goliath crack me up!

The only thing that gave me any cause for concern is some of the things Errol says. I’m a strong believer and follower of Christ, and to me, some of his words and sayings could be seen as blasphemous. I don’t have an issue with others having different beliefs; I just don’t necessarily like to hear about it in detail. However, it seems that after a certain point, the author stopped giving us more insight into his thoughts and turned to other things. It did help me understand Errol’s eccentricity and overall, the awesomeness of the entire book helped me overlook it.
