Matt Dinniman is one of my favorite authors. His ability to write characters that have more and more depth and nuance the longer a series goes on is one of my favorite things. They might appear a bit shallow at there introduction and first chapter. But they grow wonderfully. Matt is especially adept at picking at/exposing trauma each character has experienced and bringing it into the story.

This is easily one of the most fun LitRPG books I’ve read. Its got a great depth to it, fun/interesting characters, and long running ramifications of choices.

I love it and have already devoured the other books. Eagerly awaiting book 5 now.
