I am struggling a little to write this review if I am being honest. I am a HUGE fan of dark romance stories. BDSM isn’t really my jam, but I am not opposed per se, and I have a very “to each their own philosophy”. Having said all of that, the blurb for To Crave and Covet had me definitely intrigued, and the audiobook was very well done. The book definitely started off fast and continued with lots of action, drama, twists and turns and jaw-dropping, eye-widening moments. The book is written to definitely keep the reader guessing up until the very end and it had me invested the whole time wanting the full story and hoping Murphy would get her memory back, and ultimately her HEA.

I liked that Murphy had a friend she could rely on and that was advocating so much for her and to try and get her to see her situation differently. I really liked Alaska and the scene toward the end with her and Joey has me hoping there is a future for them because they had some smoking hot chemistry in the midst of their danger. I am not going to lie, Stefano and pretty much everything about his relationship with Murphy made me cringe. I do think overall the story was intriguing and well written, but it seemed quick and possibly a little too fast-paced. The ending seemed to happen very quickly and I would have liked to see a little bit more. This is my first book by the author so I would definitely be interested in reading or listening to some other work of hers to see how it compares to this book.

Blair Dade, Sean Duregger and Craig A Hart all did a terrific job with the narration of this story. I do believe this is my first time listening to a book with them as narrators and I found them all pleasant to listen to and think they really brought the story to life, and I would recommend them. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock
