These books are so beautiful but so heartbreakingly sad. Why so much sadness? This time it’s Robbie and Kelly who go through the ringer and I just wanted everyone to be safe and happy. Is that so hard? Robbie and Kelly were happy and then Robbie is ripped away and everything is horrible. Beware, the beginning is confusing, but things will make sense as you go.
I was happy to see more of the Bennetts in this one, especially Rico because he is hilarious. His comments kill me and I wish he could be my friend in real life. I wish time hadn’t gone by because I feel like we missed so many things, but we get backstory and I’m glad to see everyone doing well. I’m super excited to read Carter’s story next and see into his head.
The narrator Kirt Graves does an awesome job with the audiobooks. I highly recommend them!
