The premise of the book is really stupid and full of sophomoric humor. I haven’t played D&D since college almost 40 years ago, so am generally curmudgeonly towards these types of books. However, the reviews are great, so I thought why the hell not.
Warning: Babies are killed and there are many vividly detailed descriptions of killing things with bare hands and feet.
Even with all of this – one of the funniest laugh out loud books I’ve read in years. Bonus: Jeff Hays is so damned good as narrator. Get this audiobook!
