Let me preface this by saying that I did, in fact, finish this book. Which is a bit unusual given my rating.

“Irrelevant Jack” reads like it was written by a 16 year old virgin. The characters are paper thin, and so is the setting. The bulk of the book involves uninteresting descriptions of trips into a randomized dungeon. While the author tries to take the stakes way up (the whole universe is at stake), it just isn’t grounded. I didn’t care about any of the characters, and there was essentially no plot.
