This series is very funny. Jeff Hays has superb comedic delivery and is my favorite narrator in this genre by far. His work in the Everybody Loves Large Chests series is laugh out loud funny over and over throughout the series. This series is a close second for laughs, minus the sexual elements.
Carl and Donut make for an entertaining duo. They constantly find themselves in situations that end destructively. The political intrigues they are also getting caught up in add to the action and silliness, and danger.
