I cannot say enough about the audio production for this book. the story is really fun. the narrator has wonderful range. but seriously, they go to the trouble of recording multiple voices for a crowd. they go to the trouble of overlapping voices when characters talk over each other. the distinction that this gives to any and all interactions is really difficult to qualify.
particularly for a litRPG this adds so much value. whenever an AI is speaking The producers include a shallow echo to identify it as machine language. when characters are in the background they don’t actually have to explain it because it’s clear from the voice recording. most gaming stories lose a lot of the information conveyed because a simple narration doesn’t convey bold type, italics, or puns and spelling. this is, by far, the best narration that I have ever had for any gaming style story.
