The book didn’t get off to as strong if a start as the last one did. It just felt slow. Noah is a very different character than Sam was, and the banter between him and Andrew was clever, but not always my thing. Then the pace picked up, the overarching storyline came back into play, and the book has a satisfying HFN. That said, I wish I’d waited until the next book was out. This is very definitely a middle child. There a lot of question unanswered.
