Didn’t Expect You is unlike any romance I have read before. I truly love the way Nate doesn’t push a relationship on Nyx, instead choosing to be there for her in every way possible when she needs him the most. With Nyx being in a situation where starting a new romantic relationship is not a good idea, a true friend is what she needs. I absolutely loved the way Nate took care of Nyx.
I loved the way these narrators brought the characters to life. Having different narrators for some of the secondary characters helped to deepen the experience of listening to this story.
