There is too much to unpack without a spoiler alert. So I’ll generalize my disappointment with this book. I’d like to first say Sara Puckett did a great job as usual. Alexander Cendese didn’t work for me at all. First he mispronounced every single name, which was very annoying. Both he and Sarah spoke for the same male and female characters, which is never a good idea. ESPECIALLY when they are so difficult and don’t pronounce names the same. FYI she got them right and he really dropped the ball.

To summarize the fight scenes were lacking choppy and amateurish at best. Sex scenes were not much better. The M.C. is a Marry Sue and most of the world building was sloppy and haphazard. Basically the only good thing about this book was Sara Puckett. But thats not enough to save it. The plot holes in the story were mind blowing. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK IN GOOD CONSCIENCE. Save your money.
