I had initially bought the paperback and really enjoyed the story. Decided to purchase the audiobook and was blown away.
Travis Baldree provides an excellent performance and breathes more life into the story and characters. Frank is infinitely more bearable, even likeable, from the beginning. Kline is more smarmy and perfectly punchable. Ned’s ‘poor little rich boy-ness’ starts out less grating.
The story is still wonderful and I’m hyped for the sequel; especially with Travis’s narration.
