Compared to other LitRPG novels, this often feels dry and clinical snd is often predictable. However, it’s still a fun read and an interesting story.
One positive aspect of the “dry” feel to the story, however, is that a LOT seems to happen in the one book. Compared to, say “The Land” or even the “Dungeon Lord” series, there is much less meandering commentary and much more of things happening. At some points that’s frustratingly mundane, but at other points I found myself wondering how this much had happened and we’re still in the first book.
Hoping it gets even better from here!
