I am a gamer need. With that said, why do LitRPG genre’s feel the need to CONSTANTLY rattle off the stats? when I read a book that does this, you can simply scan to the end and continue… but in an audio format, you’ve got to listen to the same stats, over and over and over. I’m only 3 hours into this book and it’s got to be the worst offender of over 40 other LitRPG books I’ve listened to. So much so, I’m about to give up on listening to it.

I’ve seen interviews with author’s where they mention the small tweaks and edits they allow the producers to make in order to improve the flow of an audio book versus the print version. Why can’t any of these gamer style author’s allow the same?
