The Kings of Hell MC Boxed Set combines all five books of the series which makes it so easy to binge the entire series (which, in my opinion, is the best way to enjoy all these books). Each of these books is well crafted with interesting characters and an enthralling plot that spans the entire series. This series may not be for everyone: all the characters reside in the morally gray area and all have their flaws. But the romances are tender and hot with a lot of kink and D/s play.
Laurent and the Beast:
Time travel is impossible…unless you make a deal with a demon. Laurent is a young man from 1805 who dares to dream of the impossible: starting a romantic relationship with another man. But what should have been a chance at forbidden happiness quickly transcends into a nightmare. His only hope is to make a deal with a demon which transports him into 2017 and straight into the heart of the Kings of Hell Motorcycle Club.
Laurent and the Beast is the first book in the Kings of Hell MC series and immediately sets the stage for the paranormal romance. Laurent is a beautiful young man, proud and quick to judge, but he’s also just trying to find his own happiness in this new modern world. Beast has born the scars of his failure for years, resigned to the fact that he’ll never find love or happiness again. But meeting Laurent gives him something he never dreamed of having: hope. Both of these men are deeply flawed, but together they fit each other perfectly. Their romance is intoxicating as they do everything they can to stay together despite the attempts of demons and adversaries.
My Dark Knight:
It’s easy to be someone else, someone stronger and more confident, when dressing up in costumes and makeup. This has been Elliot’s coping mechanism as he tries to survive his meager, stark life. Elliot’s one joy in life is his obsession with the serial killer William Fane. This obsession places him direct opposition of Knight, one of the Kings of Hell MC members who despises Fane. Soon this antagonism transforms into an intense passion.
Elliot and Knight are one of my favorite couples. They fit each other perfectly, and their world is complete as long as they have each other. It’s a strange, but beautiful relationship. The over arching plot of the series starts to heat up and the worldbuilding starts to get more complex.
On Your Knees, Prospect
Attacked by a strange creature, Jake’s life is suddenly changed in ways he can barely comprehend. In middle of keeping this frightening secret, Jake meets Vars, the newest member of the Kings of Hell MC. Vars is unlike anyone Jake’s met before, and unknown unbeknownst to Jake, Vars has his own paranormal secret. The relationship between Vars and Jake starts off with some antagonism, but it doesn’t last long. Vars is exactly what Jake needs: dominant, demanding, and knows how to use a strong hand. The series plot continues to build and the Kings of Hell MC members are desperate to figure out a way to win against the demon that haunts their club house.
Grey’s Shadow
Everyone has a shadow…until they don’t. Grey sold his shadow to a demon to save his fellow MC club member. It’s a bizarre deal that Grey is instantly distrustful of, especially when his shadow becomes its own sentient being. The last thing Grey expects to do is to fall in love with his own shadow, but Shadow has no doubt that being with Grey is what he’s meant do. Grey and Shadow happen to be one of the most unique couples in the Kings of Hell MC, and I utterly adore them. While Grey and Shadow develop their romance, the series plot becomes more and more complicated, and the true evil of the demon is uncovered.
In the Arms of the Beast
The end of the world is coming unless the Kings of Hell MC can pull off the impossible. But tempers are flaring and members and couples find themselves at each other’s throats. And then help comes from the most unexpected corner and completely changes the world as the Kings of Hell know it.
This series was an incredible ride. I loved each and everyone of the couples, and the series plot was full of action, thrills, twists, and turns. This was a fantastic series and I cannot wait for the spinoff series to be published.
