This one really touched me. I’ve listened to many Audibles about serial rapists and murderers. They are all tough to hear. The story of this offender’s early life, like some of the others, presents the perverse sexual abnormalities as well as conditions like poverty that often shape an offender later in life.
But this story has an unusual heartbreaking element. It has to do with a man, due to half-assed police work and some remarkable coincidences to the real perp, becomes an unforgettable victim himself.
