This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by Parker Lee. It’s mostly well written with a great storyline, but characters that had to grow on me. There were times I loved it and then hated it. Started to like it again, then boom, disliked, again. Ugh. The back and forth of their relationship was annoying. Someone willingly having sex with another person after finding who they believe to be the love of their life doesn’t make sense to me. The roommate (Eve?) who wouldn’t take no for an answer made me angry. I also hated how Kelsey compared Tony (?) and Craig and found Craig lacking in sex, but she could deal with it. Really? What happened with the dog, Pete, and Craig?

I will admit that the steamy scenes were steamy! One thing I keep going back to was their reactions were probably closer to real life than most romances I read. Although I question if threesomes were common in early 2000’s. There wasn’t any insta love here.

I accepted a code for this book because of the narrator, Connor Brown. His performance was excellent. He has a great voice that is easy to listen to for long periods of time. Definitely a favorite narrator.

*I received a code for this audiobook and this is my voluntary and honest review.
