Don’t be put off by the formulaic start to this tail. Once things get rolling it is a nuanced story with great characters many layers of questions and interests to be untangled.
There are many elements to this book I normally shy away from, but they are combined in fun and maeningful ways in this fantasy action mystery.
I can’t wait to find where it all leads.
