I wasn’t expecting the second half of this book. The first half was the expected delightful goofiness of a good urban fantasy and then it took a left turn into a bigger, more developed world that made me extremely happy that I bought the audio book and not just borrowed the Kindle Unlimited e-book.
And Joel Leslie… I mean, say no more. Heck, a chunk of my library exists because I browse books specifically narrated by him.
