To Crave and Covet starts with Murphy being kidnapped, a car crash, and then continues two years later with Murphy married and no memory of her husband or life before the crash. Intense and dark To Crave and Covet plays with consent and how far is too far when it comes to punishment. I listened to this book in a day, not releasing how quickly I was absorbed in it. I liked the ending but also wanted more. There were a lot a characters, none of whom had backstories fleshed out so I didn’t really root for anyone. Despite the story being finished, a lot was left open. It seemed like a spotlight only on the time of the story but the past and future were nonexistent which left me feeling unsatisfied.
