Big siiiiigh… and ?

Female protagonist is supposedly 22. Dumb does not begin to cover it… the only thing she seems to have is her looks and what she can offer between her legs. The name protagonist got on my nerves… for as old as he was and the things he’s been through, he’s ruled by what’s between his legs and wants to call it love? (I would understand better if it was his brother.)

No spoilers here but the book started with promise and I think this is where I get off from these CH series… the stories are elongated for the sake of series? I don’t understand. I usually enjoy Ms. Winters’ books and she does a really good job painting the background down to the trees perfectly and this book was not an exception, I could almost see the beaches and traveled with them to the islands etc. but gosh dang it the characters do not match their back stories and ruined everything… To be fair, there were some really good parts and the steamy parts are good… just wish Eleanor did not talk or “think” too much… may have worked if it was mostly Sullivan’s POV perhaps… just really tired of reading about ditsy but “skinny, small and striking” characters… perhaps a cute Bob hairstyle, glasses (or not), not too “small and skinny” and also smart? Maybe a tall girl once in a great while? Ugh

Narration: They both did a good job with their parts. I liked that “Sullivan” or “Eleanor” would act their parts in each other’s chapters.

I am returning this book, I try not to but It’s not worth it.
