This was my first experience with C. T. Phipps’ work and it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed and was entertained by this book. I found this book to be layered. On the top level, it is light, funny, and irreverent regarding super heroes and super villains. The next level is how everything comes together and relates a story that keeps one’s interest. On the deepest level, it is about a person making choices and how that impacts their own life and the lives of those around them. I can’t wait to get a copy of the next book in the series. Jeffrey Kafer’s narration was excellent and added to the entertainment of this tale. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.
