The protagonist is very unlikable to start, but grows on you. By the end, he was a decent guy. Frank the secondary protagonist starts out interesting and grows to be a very likable character.

The world has some inconsistencies, but is easy enough to overlook. I enjoyed the pacing and although “it hit the mark” and “mob” are extremely overused, the combat is described well; it is both interesting and easy to visualize.

The narrator is not the best, but is good enough to add a little flavor to the story. He doesn’t try too hard, but still gives a unique voice to every character. I would not mind listening to him again, but would not go out of my way to hear him either.
