This is so bad, oh not initially. The concept is great. The execution though…ouch!
This is a story of a cry baby homesick “marine”….
Maybe spend some time with an actual marine? Don’t tell me you were one cause there are zero indications of this.
The MC would not have made it on one deployment – if he was not killed due to incompetence he would have died of being homesick…unbelievable.
Then there are the lazy writing. Twist of the plot just to suit the current need without setting it up first.
I got 3:30 and I just cannot do it anymore. I cringe every time the MC is incompetent. The last straw was the fight in the city where a fellow “soldier” need to tackle him down and then get killed in some weird scene that I had to replay and it still made no sense other than the MC had to get the big bad robot?
Only thing that made me go as long as I did is a pretty good performance by Paul Heitsch.
