This was the first book I’ve read/listened to by Raisa Greenwood. It had a great storyline with good characters. I was really surprised with the direction the author took. I loved how strong Donatella/Ella was as a woman, not just physically, but mentally as well as emotionally. Cristian was frustrating and had to grow on me. By the end, he redeemed himself. I was surprised to find this was book four in a series. It was a great standalone.
Tara Langella and Jay Adler did a great job narrating. Their performances were well done.
