The story is okay. The characters are likable for the most part. But there is too much repetition of the characters’ thoughts and fears- that gets old. We get it- N feels responsible for everyone, etc. no need to pound that point home over and over. I found myself saying out loud “duh, you should have done this,” or, “wait… what about that? “
The narrator IMO delivers a breathy, stilted performance and at times makes the characters seem whiny. Wanted to like it more.
