A very good Kaiju novel that caught my attention more as the book went on. No real cliche stuff here and I feel a fair bit of originality is present. The ebb and flow of the book was excellent as well ((as far as I am concerned)) as the downtime moments were well placed and the action was appropriately timed. Nothing ever seemed to drag.

Narrator did a great job with this work. All the while he kept a good pace and had enough distinction that I never questioned what character was speaking.
