TL;DR The book is a slow started that you’ll only get some of the story without the other books.
I picked this up think it would be completely unremarkable and I’m not sure how I would rate this book in the end but alas I’m reviewing it so here we are. The story starts off very underwhelming for me as if I would have anything better to be doing I would have but that’s really where it ends for me as it went on I found myself getting more excited and interested, also after how the book was for lack of better word “constructed” I don’t find any of that bad since the story seems to be meant to be enjoyed over the continuation of the other books.
