Overall a solid addition to the series but, about halfway through I started loosing interest. I ended up taking a break from the book for a few days until I was able to finish it.
(SPOILER) I felt like the battles were foreshadowed to a degree that made them unenjoyable. Almost as soon as I fight was started I knew that it was lost, and that ruined any anticipation that I had. I found myself speeding up the pace just to get through them faster. Hopefully the next book fixes this because I’d rather not abandon this series.
