Illusions that May is book two in the Court High Series and it picks up where book one ends with December finding out her sister has died and what that means. Having difficulty processing the news and after being let down by the people in her life, December finds herself in a new place living a completely new life, barely surviving, but she does make a new friend, who will later play a different role in the story. When things go from bad to worse, December finds herself back in Court territory once again. As time goes on, more and more secrets come out, the greatest of which raise questions about the hows and whys of Paige’s death, and December wants answers.
I was hooked from the start. I pretty much listened to it in one sitting and was engaged start to finish. I found book two to be even better than book one and I cannot wait to listen to the next book when it comes out. I think Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job with the narration of this story and I would definitely recommend them. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock
