This is the second installment of four in the Court High Series! I love this series! You have to listen to this series in order. The story continues where They the Pretty Stars left off. December is such a wonderful character. Royal is an intriguing character and the back and forth, past to present, helps to better understand his past, his personality, and his relationship with Paige, December’s sister. The mystery about Paige’s death is intricate. Ramses is a new intriguing addition to the amazing cast of characters. Knight, Jax and L.J are great supporting characters. The world building is enthralling. The storyline is emotional, heartbreaking, intriguing, and captivating, filled with mystery, suspense, and unpredictable twists and turns. There is a lot going on in this installment. Now, I need the next book, Court Kept! Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas did a wonderful job with the narration.
