This is a simply delicious dark bully romance. Ocean is from a rocky beginning. She finds herself leaving everything she knows behind when her mother is hired by a billionaire. She starts a new school and quickly becomes everyone’s favorite target. Lucky for her she is tough as nails. Her main antagonist is the broody son of her mother’s boss, Colton. And their relationship is the best kind of angsty build to a fever pitch back and forth that keeps you listening.
This does have a cliffy and it is major. You will be so hungry for the rest of the series! Completely packed with plot, great pacing, and knock you on your butt mystery. There will be characters that you love and hate in equal measure which really adds to the fun,
The narration is fantastic! Nice pitch, easy to listen to, great inflection.
