I enjoy books thst are not super complicated even though they are serious drama.
I also love when the banter is good.
I love when the author develops the characters so you can care about them.
I love when the narrator can use subtle distinctions with the different characters and genders but not go overboard with it.
This book fulfilled all of these and my only regret is that I have finished the whole series. GREAT JOB to the author and narrator and Audible for jamming the nine books into a complete set. ~ J
