The story itself is good. I loved the way the initial character evolved through the three books. It was, however, painfully repetitive. If you removed every time the author repeats the plot line or verbatim defines a character for the readers, there would really only be one book left.
The pronunciation of the reader was infuriating!!! I tried so hard to simply assume some cultural dialect disconnect, but the problem continued through all three books with numerous nonsensical errors.
