i was drawn in by the set-up and being in a mood for Dungeon Core, I was not prepared for the amount of dry wit and humour, it took me a day to go through this one and I checked for the next one before I was done.
the world is fun and interesting, the MC is not OP, but he is overly competent if that’s a deal breaker for you.
Travis needs more love, he is a great narrator whom I’m starting to associate with quality to the point I’ll pick up books solely because of his narration
