Carl Stubblefield moves the story along splendidly with an ample, and not overabundant, amount of stat updates that tends to interfere with the story flow. The author spent a lot of time preaching about personal choices especially with respect to the Furry character to the point where it began to border on woke preaching. There was a frustrating amount of repetitive angst with the MC and even other primary characters which made the characters less likable after awhile. Still I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to the next book in the series.

Travis Baldree’s performance was, as usual, superb.
