I had a difficult time remembering that the main couple were not elderly. when specific references reminded me that they were actually a younger couple ready to start a family, it would change my view of situations. The narrator wasn’t bad, he just sounded much older than the anyone was meant to be. it’s a great story and would have been so much more enjoyable if the right narrator had been chosen.
