If there is a point, I am missing it.

This was a free title so I got it. I went through almost 80% and finally gave up.

The story is somewhat interesting… an alien war is raging on the other side of the Milky Way, and one of the sides comes to Earth, and happens to grab you and take you there… to join up in the war. Ok, after that interesting premise, the whole story falls apart.

The story is a list of improbable happenings (granted, this is Sci Fi, but even so), and keeps on dragging on, and on, and on… at some point, one wishes that there was more meat on the story. There are good guys and bad guys, a beautiful woman (alien, and a princess on top of that) that we are supposed to like, etc.

Finally, I gave up. There was nothing that the story could have developed that point to salvage it for me. I wasted 6 hours of my life… time to move on.
