I had never heard of Tom Luther before this book. The story that unfurled from this book left chills on my spine. That such a devil existed and was left to roam the country prowling for victims. The narrator was great. His husky voice and long drawl gave the story exactly what it needed. The story was good – but long. Really long. While I enjoyed the themes and details it was almost too long and I felt myself longing for closure. Not sure if it was because I wanted – needed the victims to have closure or if the story just seemed to drag out at the end. I don’t think I’d pay another credit for this book, but it helped me pass hours of time during my morning and evening commute.
