wow, wow, wow! awesome series! this series has been my introduction to this author, & damn, she she got herself a new fan in me. this is my favorite series now. the way she tells her stories, wow! I mean, I love to b surprised by a storyline, who doesn’t, & she’s done it multiple times. it has everything, hot sex, but not to the point u want to ff to the story, makes u laugh & cry, tons of mystery, I mean it has it all! with each bk the story gets better & better, & u learn a little more of the main plot, just enough to b seriously satisfied. then, u think u have a handle on things, & watch out, here comes a curve ball u never saw coming! the plot gets more & more intriguing w each bk. I mean, I want to know what the full plot is, but I love these bread crumbs…or maybe I shld call the breadsticks bc they really r very satisfying…that the author leaves us. but that wld mean the series is over, & I REALLY don’t want that to happen!!! I’ve come to love & care about these characters & don’t want to say goodbye anytime soon.
u may think tht this bk starts out a little slow, but the author needs time to build the relationship between these 2 so tht we care about them. to me, I couldn’t see Jayson & lizzy together bc she was so sweet & innocent. but by the time the action started, my feelings started to change, & they had me up & down the emotional scale totally rooting for them.
so, if I were u I wld buy the bk, use a credit, do whatever u have to do, to start this series! as it goes on, it gets better & more intriguing w each bk, which isn’t always the case in a lot of series. that’s what makes me appreciate the series more & more. ENJOY!
