Book Two of The Messenger series. The story continues and it is entertaining!!! Dash matures quickly, the team finds itself in multiple fixes – some humorous, some serious (of course)! I find myself disagreeing with their plan of action sometimes – BUT it’s not my story to tell!! I really like the characters, the interactions, the talents they all bring to the action – very interesting to listen to the interactions between everyone!! I especially am liking the inclusion of the Monks, who came along with the Level 2 Power Core!! I think these guys are eventually going to be a very integral part of the Team – they have been around an Unseen facility for centuries, have learned the language, and probably have knowledge they may not realize!
The most maddening part of these books – to me – is the length of time that it sometimes takes Dash to realize that everything at his disposal in the Archetype is advanced tech – even something as simple as the sword!! But, it’s not my story to tell and those moments certainly fit what we know about Dash!!
Overall, this is a great series, a great second book – and I am continuing on in the series!! I can only recommend that if you are looking for an entertaining Sci Fi series you will not go wrong with this one!!!
