It’s interesting that the story is told from the POV of a family member of a school shooter. We hear about these events and we often empathize with everyone but the shooter, their family, and friends. Great perspective. It starts off a little slow and to be honest I didn’t get really interested until part two. The female narrator was much better than the male. He only narrates two/three chapters, so I didn’t mind it much. All the feels with a side of trauma and angst, but as always love triumphs in the end.
