Boom is the first book in the Blast Brothers series. This book is told from dual points of view from Arden Weathers and Brody Blastoviak. They were former classmates in high school and something happened between them that change the course of both of their lives, and they each blamed each other.

Now six years later she is on a mission to get her grandparent’s house back. She learns that Brody bought it to fix it up for his tv show he and his brothers host. One of the main people who do the show offered Arden a job as a consultant on the house.

Through out the book it sometimes goes back to the past so we can see what happened between the two and why they hate each other. We learn a lot about each character, and how they thought the other’s life was different than what it really was like.

They start to have feelings for each other, but then the past comes back up. Can they learn each other’s pasts and learn to forgive the other. Or will it tear them apart for good?

I really enjoyed the first story in the series, and can’t wait to listen to the next brother’s story.
