This is the first of Barry Hutchison’s books I have listened to, and I really did enjoy it. The humor given by a person who didn’t know how to be a person was perfect! Deadman was a great counterpoint to her, and it was really entertaining to listen to them try and figure out who there were as a team, or if they even were a team.
I also liked that some people in the story died, making danger seem more real to the characters. The MCs were both strong, and we realized stronger that we thought as the book went on, but never some all powerful indestructible thing.
honestly, this was really good, and I will definitely be getting the rest of the series, as well as looking at Hutchison’s other work.
