Sorry to dissent. I am unfamiliar with the characters and storyline and didn’t enjoy.
The narrator’s tone is pleasant but his singsong rhythm was often inappropriate to the importance of content. His leisurely or adagio pace coupled with a staccato pause after each sentence was unsettling decaying to uninteresting over time.
The Teletubby kids’ voices were overly cutesy (adding “s” to the end of various words gets old fast and they all did it but otherwise had perfect diction). Sandy, the lonely lady, did seem very endearing but her father’s reported sense of humor did not inherit and nothing funny happened in the whole book other than the replaying romance-in-the-pants gag. Feelings of sweetness and comfort between the parental couples did convey, so the Valentine’s theme worked okay. However,
