Nearly the entirety of this book is slice of life. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with “slice of life” books. I just prefer when there’s a more cohesive challenge or conflict that a book orients itself around. This is mostly “administrators administrating”.

I’d probably enjoy this more, but the depth of the cultivation system in this world is just so mind-boggling massive that I just can’t wrap my head around it. The book does show signs of the game world nearing completion and cementing it’s connection with “The Completionist Chronicles”.

Baldree’s narration is fantastic as ever.
