I’m a huge fan of mafia romance but I was a little hesitant about a carel romance. I wasn’t sure I could get into it…what an unexpected surprise! The story between Val, a cartel boss and Eden, a bartender who was in the wrong place at the wrong time was a pleasure to listen to! Full of action, passion, heat and suspence, it’s everything I love about this genre. Just when I thought things were slowing down there was another twist or turn..I could not stop listening. This book is on the darker side, there are some violent, gritty scenes, but it’s to be expected in a book that centers around a cartel war.
The narration was amazing and really brought these characters to life….perfection! #AudiobookObsession
